The Club has just replaced the existing snooker tables with two brand new Wiraka tables. After a considerable effort by a small team of helpers led by President Rob Ward the two tables are now up and running for members to enjoy. The replacement of the old tables involved their dismantling and removal before the new ones could be put in place. The old tables have been purchased by two of our members who will be arranging for them to be removed to new homes. The new tables come with a lot of ancillary equipment including sets of balls, cues, rests and electronic scoreboards. Playing on the new tables will be a novel experience for most of our members who will have to adjust their play to suit the pace of the balls on the new surfaces. Congratulations to the Committee on the fulfilment of this project for the Club and a big thank you to those who gave up their time to make it happen.
