The Club was fortunate to be offered the chance to hold a sausage sizzle today at Bunnings. This was due to a cancellation by another group and we were able to step in at short notice, thanks to a group of willing volunteers from our membership. This was our first opportunity for some time to conduct some fund-raising at Bunnings. Many thanks to all those who put their hand up to help out, especially to our event coordinator, Ted Herbert, who was able to get things organized at very short notice. The money raised for our Club at these sausage-sizzles helps us to pay our way without the need to charge members higher fees. The Club appreciates those who contribute with a few hours of their time.
