The first competition for this year, the Crosby Shield Handicap Snooker Competition, has just been completed. It was pleasing to see 21 entries ranging across all grades. The Crosby Shield is an aggregate competition played over two consecutive frames.
Last Sunday, 13th June 2022, saw the final being played between Darian Ward (handicap 22) and Ian Thomas (handicap 10) with Ian coming out the winner.
Congratulations and thanks to all those who entered. Having a good number of entries makes competitions all the more interesting.
The Club Championship draw is now on the board and nominations for a new Handicap Billiards Competition are now being called for.
